For more than half a century, we have been at home on the roads of Germany and Europe – predominantly engaged in local transport, covering the “last mile” to the supermarkets in the cities. Over the years, we have grown from the smallest beginnings to become an internationally operating medium-sized business specialising in temperature-controlled (food) logistics with about 2,000 employees. Today, the family-owned company is managed in its third generation from the headquarters in Friedrichsdorf, Hesse, situated in the midst of the Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region. Our business activities are always based on fairness and respect, not only in dealing with each other as well as with our customers and business partners, but also towards the environment and future generations. Sustainable management and social commitment are a matter of personal interest to the owner families, which can be seen and felt in many decisions.
The colleagues in the driver’s cab are the backbone of our company – nothing works without our drivers! They are the specialists who contribute their knowledge, skills and a great deal of commitment to accomplish outstanding achievements on a daily basis! Support from the very beginning
From the first day on, we make sure that new employees have experienced colleagues by their side to provide them with advice and support – those with foreign roots, even in their native language, whenever possible. Our own driving instructors familiarise new employees with specific customer processes and systems and conduct individual training sessions, driver safety training courses and regular modular training (code number 95) with a high practical relevance (social legislation, eco-training, safety technology/driving safety, cargo security and occupational health and safety). In addition, our employees have access to our online tutorials at all times.
We offer vocational training and various further training and career advancement opportunities
We also engage in the promotion of young professionals. We train professional drivers at various locations and logistics specialists, office managers and future IT specialists at our headquarters in Friedrichsdorf. Those who successfully complete their vocational training have a wide range of career opportunities in our company.
